Default Liveperson's "Promote Yourself" Opportunities Question

Has anyone ever tried LP's "Promote Yourself" ads for their experts? You know, the "Banner Ads", "Newsletter Advertising", and "Dedicated Email Sponsorship"....

If you have, what has been your luck with them?

Have they brought you more paying clients?

Has your income on LP soared because of it?

Please let me know.

I've never used it, but I have a strong customer base since I started out with them when they were still Kasamba. If you are just starting it might be better to charge the lowest rate you can and accept chats from people who haven't entered billing information. This way, you don't worry about making up the cost of what you spent on advertising and you can focus on the readings.

Thumbs down banner ads on LP

These days more and more people are using the banner ads to promote themselves, particularly those who have fallen in the pages due to the influx of more readings, and new experts.
It pays for itself SOMETIMES but the good news is at least they throw more traffic your way. The bad news is they take almost 50% of what you may anyway, and with a banner costing anywhere from $250 to $750 a month it can be hard on YOUR pocket book. So sad Kasamba is now gone and a corporation has taken over, where the "bottom" line is the most important thing.

Hello All; I paid for the fee to become an advisor with LP in the Christianity section. So far i have not received any calls at all. Do you have any other suggestions about marketing?
