19.95 for a website does sound high.
I know of a few where it's $10-$12 a month for the site.
I'm with NYR Organic- our sites are totally free

Celebrating Home's monthly website fee is $12.95. However, you can prepay 3 months, 6 months or 12 months and get a nice discount.

it definitely sounds high to me. The most I've ever paid for a website was $10 a month, and even then I didn't like it.

Currently, I'm paying 10.95 for a website and back office access, and an extra $3.00 for a monthly newsletter. It seems to me the average is usually around $12 to $15 dollars per month. I will be signing up for a company and was thrilled to find out the website, back office access, and customer newsletter are totally free..always..not just as a special promotion. I've seen a few more companies offering free websites recently.

I've been in a few companies before and never paid for a website. With World Ventures we have multiple free websites. Each have a little different purpose though. One is for recruiting, one is more for booking travel at discount, another is just for our dream trips and the 4th is kind of a combination of them all.

I have seen a couple of companies that are more around $10/month. That seemed okay. $19.95 though sounds high to me too. I guess it depends on your view though and the value that you think they offer you for the $19.95/month. Do they send you leads or anything like that?

It depends on if they charge a yearly fee or not. Some companies charge a yearly fee to remain a consultant and can be upwards of $300... Other companies are "free" in regards to a yearly fee but do have a website charge instead. Ours is $10 and then $5 for subsequent brands (scentsy, velata, grace adele - the 3 scentsy family brands).

hope that helps.

I'd find out what all that $20 covers. If it's JUST hosting, then yes, it does sound high. If it covers additional benefits such as customer newsletters or being listed in a search directory or other perks, then maybe. Not sure I would pay that unless I knew I could get a good ROI on it.

Wildtree charges $12.95/mo for our rep sites. It includes the monthly newsletter.
