Lindt RSVP closing
Got the official word that Lindt RSVP will be closing down at the end of December. I'm a bit sad , but not really surprised.
I received a bogus spam letter a month or so ago saying they would be closing in the next 2 years but thought it was just that, bogus. Time to move on and find something else. I'm just bummed because I have only been with them 5 months and had put money out on a banner, business cards, and just barely am out another $50 for an upcoming local event that I wrote a check to but haven't mailed yet. I promised a donation to a local event for a school, I'll still send that because it's a donation but it still really kinda upsets me. My sales may not have been great, but I like the company and the people.

So sorry this is happening to you! So sad to hear about another company closing their direct sales division.

Oh wow! I'll have to tell my Director. She was with Lindt before she started with Origami Owl. She told me it just didn't feel right.

Thank you ladies.
It seems Dove Chocolate Discoveries is offering specials for Lindt RSVP reps to take "refuge" LMBO, which I actually considered Dove before I decided to join Lindt. I'm looking @ some options at the moment but am hesitant to rush into anything thinking it's going to be the next big thing (I honestly believed there was no way chocolate could fail and well, boy was I wrong). I am putting feelers out trying to find something that my area is not saturated with (makeup, candles, purses & charms/lockets are all oversold in my area)

I think you're smart to take your time. Any company can close as we've seen with companies that have been around for decades. Even with Dove and its name recognition, that's surprising. There are no guarantees as you made the best decision for you at the time. I'm sure you'll find something you'll love again
