Default Avon, Pampered Chef, Jamberry

I need the nitty gritty brass tacks with these companies for selling. Commission, online work ok, start up costs, monthly minimums, how do I get paid, free website? You get the gist. I need to know it all so I can make informed decisions. I have a bunch of them I am checking out.

Are you just looking at these three companies or are you open to others as well?

Very different companies...not going into comp plan details but just a simple how you run the biz:
Avon ( I was with them 10 years) is a lot of local work, handing out catalogs every 2 weeks....
Pampered Chef-most reps hold tasting parties
Jamberry- I know nothing about but I'd think parties may work better with this too?

Good Luck in your decision!

Thank you for clearing this up for me.

I was quite confused when I saw this title.

Default More Plan Questions

I am open to everything. As I am studying these different plans to find the right fit for me I am coming up with more questions. So if any of you want to answer these in regard to your particular company that would be great.

1. After the sign up with your company is there a yearly membership or monthly minimum?

2. If I host online parties do the hostesses still qualify for gifts?

3. Do I have to host a party in my home to get started?

4. Start up costs?

5. Is there a free website with your company?

6. How is delivery handled? Is it sent to me to deliver or is it sent to the hostess to deliver to her friends?

7.How are credit card transactions handled?

8. Does your company auto-ship product?

9. Do I get commissions on the people I sign up even if it is an online sign up?

10. What commission do I make and is it different if it is an online sale?

11. Who pays for the hostess gifts? Does it come out of my commission?

12. When and how do I get paid?

13. How is sales tax handled? Is it different for online, home shows, flea market/vendor events?
The reason I ask this one is that one company I was considering I had to have a sales tax ID to sign up. That was a real shame because I love the product.

If you have already responded to me you don't have to respond again. I have spent the last 2 days scouring over this material. I am so poor right now a few I might consider will have to wait. I just have to get something figured out though.

Thank-you for all the support and help. It really means a lot to me.

Nice to meet you too. There is just so much to absorb and each company is different. I am sure I will have more questions as I go but these are just some I have come up with over these last few days.
