I guess we made national news yesterday! Yes, we had about 6 touch-downs across the mid-state and at least 100 homes destroyed. Luckily only 2 deaths, a young mom and her 9 week old baby. The dad is in critical condition in the hospital. 41 injured, which is a very low number considering all the damage the storms did to the land!

Thank you for all the messages asking if we were ok. I know there is at least one other member from Murfreesboro... I don't know how she is doing. We are all fine, not damage to our house at all.

I know our Church sent about 1000 people today to help with the clean up, my husband and son are there now. It's amazing how people who don't know each other pitch in to help in times like these! There are thousands of volunteers in the "Ground Zero" area right now, helping the victims pick up the pieces of their lives and make a fresh start.

Love to you all,
Kim

Kim, thanks so much for the update!! I was worried about you! Thank goodness you and your family are okay.

I'm so sorry for the others who were affected though I can't imagine how devastating that would be!

Thank goodness for your hubby and son and all the others who are helping out!!

Thank you, everyone. Murfreesboro is a bit of a mess, but all in all... it could've been much worse.
