Default What is your experience with vendor events

I am considering doing some vendor events in the near future. Some of them are pricey, like $250 a table. I know I can split the cost with someone else. Have you had success with events like these?
I did one once, got many leads, but then no one responded to my follow ups. Have you lost money or made money? Did you find someone new who became part of your downline?

Have a great day!

I realize this post is over a month old, but thought I'd give my input.

My friend and I attend vendor shows here in the Midwest... they are not huge events by any means, but a decent amount of traffic goes thru. We usually pay anywhere from 25$ to 125$ for a table, depending on venue and expected traffic.

My friend promotes a network marketing company different from what I do, but we have both enjoyed a decent amount of success.

It depends on what you are marketing and how you present it. I am able to offer a free service that requires no financial information and let's them try things out on their own time.. so I get a great signup rate, while her program offers at minimum a Preferred Customer signup option with a monthly discounted autoship of product. But she does pretty well since she has a good "people" personality, and this month she has just car-qualified with her company - a lot of her downline comes from these vendor shows.

Try it out and see how it goes, experiment a little and have fun.... hope this helps a bit
