In my opinion, PASSION is everything in every type of industry out there. If you don't have passion and belief for what you are doing, then you have failed yourself and your team.

Great post!
Getting into a company early on doesn't mean anything. It's the passion and the hustle that get people to the top. Belief in themselves. Servant leadership. Drive. Ambition. It has nothing to do with placement in the company. I only know because I was the first person to join a certain company in California & I was 3rd from the top guy in the company. The most I made a month with this company was about $70. lol! Building my business was just not a passion at the time. Love your thoughts on the subject! Just wanted to add my two cents. ![]() |

This is true.
In network marketing, everyone starts in the same place. Your income depends on what happens below you, not (mostly) on what happens above you. If anything, the people who "get in early" have all the disadvantages, because the company's new and things are still being developed and there are often all sorts of teething troubles, and sometimes they don't even last a year, as well. All of which is why one wants to tear out one's hair when people produce this tired old nonsense about "the people who get in at the top are the only ones who make a living". ![]() It's probably true that nobody gets rich in their first few months, but in many of the longest-established MLM's, some of them many decades old now, the highest-earning people are actually people who've joined within the last 5 years or so. |

Find something you have a passion for. Something that you can believe in. People will gravitate to you when they feel excitement exuding from you. Stay consistent, do the work day in and day out and you will see results!

I will say this as I've opened my mind a bit more about the industry things have become more clear. I used to wonder how some people can make so much money with company A especially when there are similar products on the market from company B?
Then I heard the speech on autoships and why they are beneficial from a company and business building point of view. I had a hidden distrust for the MLM industry. Going forward I understand if the product, company and compensation are solid then God bless anyone joining whatever business they may choose to go with. There's enough people for all of us to become customers and/or distributors. No matter when you get in move the product or service and build. That's the system to success. Now conquering our own personal limitations of fear and self doubt that's the high hurdle. Tame those two and the sky is the limit. Just believe. Last edited by Cornelius; 04-24-2014 at 03:54 PM. |

You hit the nail on the head with this quote:

For me the hurdle is just getting out there and making contact with strangers. But I'm getting better at it. The more I do it, the more success I will see, and the easier it will get, and the better my checks will become! What's not to love about that?
