I'm not a marketing pro so beyond social networks and forums I outsource that portion of my business. One of my favorite sources just started offering weight loss leads:

Thanks Sherry for starting this thread! I am looking forward to sharing ideas with you all
Do any of you have plans regarding how you will market the new Project You Type 2? I am in the process of putting a mailing together for local endocrinologists and other physicians and then plan on doing follow up calls a few days later. I have heard from other coaches that they have had really good experiences getting customer leads this way. Now that we have an actual letter from the ADA outlining our partnership I think it just makes sense. Coni |

![]() Yes, were you all on the Diamonds on the Beach team call last night! They said some people just sent letters out to doctors and that the doctors have already been sending them customer referrals....before the system is even ready! There is nothing like the You: Type 2 program on the market at all. |

![]() Kass - thanks for sharing those sources! I have heard very good things about mlmleads but haven't used them myself yet. Has anyone worked with the free team leads ? |

Yes I am working Free team leads. No luck yet.
But I need to do a lot of follow up. Can everyone discuss how and where they got their first coaches.? |

![]() I found mine from my email lists.... Yes, you do have to follow up, follow up, follow up. I am an email person more than a phone person. When I call leads (which I haven't done in a long time), I send them to my website and I also ask if I may follow up by email. They nearly always say yes. Then I add them to my autoresponder follow up and send follow ups at least twice a week until forever...... This works. Sometimes people will be on your prospect list for months before they finally decide to take a serious look and join. |

What do you mean you found yours on your email list?
Most of the time with leads they hardly look at their emails. I know with my other Buss. I enroll them when i get them on the phone they almost never answer emails.. |

![]() Not everyone hereis on the Diamonds On The Beach team so they don't have access to some of the things that we do. Nevertheless, I mostly email the leads and then follow up with a call. I only send out f/u emails once a week. It's a slow process but it works. Just today, I received an email from a girl who opted in back in August and she wrote back with questions with the latest email attached. If they don't request to be removed from the list, I just keep emailing them. It comes out to about 4 emails a month so I think that's tolerable. As far as calling them, my purpose is to get thru the leads as quickly as possible so my first contact is basically a weeding out call. I only want to deal with people who are looking for a home biz; not a job. I don't spend a lot of time with the leads because I prefer social networking. It's a much easier enrollments in my experience so this is where the bulk of my time is spent. Sherry, I was on the call and I think someone is working on putting together a brochure that we can send to doctor's offices. Just this one thing alone is going to explode our bb businesses! (I'mvisiting Houston till Oct 27 by the way so here's ashout out coming your way Sherry ![]() |
