We had a great easter...I had all 5 grandchildren here for the first time in a long time. We went over to the Grave Digger for a huge easter egg hunt. We live in the same community here in NC. Busy weekend, LOL. Hope yours wass good to Alison...

Hi Alison
We had a good Easter here in the UK too. The kids had way too much chocolate,of course! Snowy and cold here though. I hope you and your family had a good Easter as well.

Ooh, you are back in the UK now Kara? I hear there has been some pretty bad weather?
Hope you all had a good Easter, Alison and family, and others. Those of us in predominantly Orthodox Church countries have our Easter (huge festival) at the end of April ... yours was really early this year!

Yes we arrived back about 6 weeks ago,been missing from here a while as my computer arrived beyond repair-grr. The weather is pretty grim. Snowing today and bitterly cold! How I miss the warmth of Italy!We will be going back though

Hi Lori,
I am born in the UK,DH is Italian and so we have a house here in the UK and over in Italy. DH is self-employed and can travel with his work easily. We came back here while we get our house in Italy sorted and fully renovated-we have been doing it ourselves,hard work but it will be worth it I LOVE Paris and Rome! I miss Italy so much and its only been 6 weeks lol

Oh and I miss all my nieces and nephews over there in Italy as well,so fingers crossed we will be back as fast as possible!

Welcome back, Kara. Missed you around here. Yes, the kids had too much chocolate but...wait...you cannot ever have too much chocolate.
We had a nice, springy day. I'm SO looking forward to the warm weather! Yes, Yulia, it was very early for us. In fact, I researched it a bit (I'm a holiday nut) and found out this: Easter always falls between March 22 and April 25 of each year. The last time the holiday was this early in the year was in 1913. The next time Easter occurs this early will be in the year 2160, so I **probably** won't be around to see it. I wish they'd just standardize the date. The rotating thing makes me crazy. If I could just figure out who "they" is, I'd tell them. AlisonEdited by: BookWhiz.biz
