How old is your company and how many advisors do you have nationwide? Give a history of the start up of your company?

The company itself is over 30 years old. It used to be known as Lady Remington Jewelry. When the owner passed away, his son took over and renamed it Lia Sophia after his two daughters. He brought designers in to update the jewelryline. That was in 2004 and we have been growing like crazy since then. We grew 55% in 2007!! Still lots of room for growth with this stable company.

you must submit a $250 party every 12 weeks (3 months) in order to be considered "active". After that you are still a rep, you just don't receive the company mailings. You have another year after you go inactive until you would have to rejoin.

It only costs me $15 to give that to her ($50 x .30). It is a great incentive to walk in knowing that you have already made $75!

My party average is around $600. The company average is around $750. I live in a lower income state. But I have lots of parties that are over $1k & some that are only $300. That is the nature of the business!

Yes, we can purchase a 10 pack of retired jewelry for $35. I use them as an incentive to get the guest lists back in 3 days.

You don't earn money off of your recruits until you promote to Unit Manager. You do earn free jewelry certificates and incentives for recruiting. Once you do promote to Unit Manager, you earn a whopping 10% on the retail sales though!

Ex; One of the women you sponsor sells $1k in the month and another sells $300. You would earn $130 on those sales!

In order topromote to Unit Manager, you must have at least 4 personal recruits. Your unit must sell at least $7000 andof that $2k must beyour personal sales.

That may sound scary but I will tell you that there has never been a month with Lia Sophia that I have not sold atleast $2500. most months, I sell over $3500 and I only do about 6 shows a month.

Yes, we can get a site through the company with an online catalog, evite capabilities, newsletter capabilities, and contact assistant for only $9.95 per month. Customers can buy directly from the site. You can customize the site to some extent on the features and events pages. You can change up the pictures, put your own picture, etc. Very simple to use. A person who wants to sign up can also sign up on your site with a password that you have given them.

We have Excellent Beginnings. It is a 15 week period when you start that is divided up into 3 five week segments. In each 5 week period, where you sell $1500, you earn a $200 jewelry certificate to pick out the jewelry of your choice.

How often do you come out with new catalogs? How many new pieces are brought on and retired from each catalog?

We have two catalogs a year. We retire 200 items from each catalog and bring on 200 items each catalog. This is great because it keeps our line updated and fresh. Customer love to keep coming back to our shows because they know they will see some new items. The company makes it easy for us to earn free jewelry so we don't have to worry too much about losing our pieces because they were FREE to begin with. Or at least 70% off!

Back then we were known as Luxe Jewels, we did jewelry making parties, over the past few years we discovered not everybody wants to learn how to make jewelry, so this year, 2008, we went strictly to ready made jewelry. We offer fashion jewelry all the way up to genuine gemstone, .925 sterling silver jewelry and gold vermeil. During April we are testing out a new kit. It is still $199, instead of the $225, you will receive $500 in free jewelry, that will give you 14 pieces of jewelry and then if you want to spend an additional $400 you can get $1,000 more worth of jewelry bringing your kit total to $1500 worth of jewelry.

If you do not do the $775 in a four month period, I mean if you go April, May, June, July and do not do $775 retail sales during any of those months, you could lose your downline, but you could go April, May, June with no sales at all and not lose your team, you would just need to get the $775 in July to not lose them.

I'm always lurking, and rarely post, but had to second Leanne~ please post your answers for all to read I have been researching jewelry companies on and off for a year (had our first baby last July) and have received many catalogs and info from you lovely ladies, but there's always new stuff coming up, or companies that I missed. I am really interested in everyone's answers! Great questions Leanne!

The company was started 10 years ago, by two dynamite women, who are both so fun to be around...they have great humor and have installed in their reps to be generous to each other. They actually started doing a clothing style consulting business and were contacted by a jewelry manufacturer, after doing a local TV spot. At that point they included jeweley accessorizing into their business. It didn't take them long to realize that jewelry was the big ticket and started selling just jewelry. We have about 20,000 active reps (this is my opinion, could be more or less) and 1000 are in Calif...we are really taking off here.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />
