I'm always looking to do things differently, so that's when I came up with the idea of doing fb parties on my fb business page! That way anyone who likes my page will get updates on the party. People get invited to 'events' all the time but either ignore them or just forget about them.

I'll host a party for someone for a week or two on my fb business page and basically, any orders on my site during that time frame goes TOWARDS their party! They like this because my fb business page gets a lot of traffic! So they are getting more orders towards their party that way.

So just another way of doing it!

I've done FB parties too. Once from my business page, but that wasn't as successful as ones that are done with a particular hostess and targeting and special inviting her friends. I just attended a training that talked about FB parties being "dead" and how to do virtual parties. I'm going to be trying that next. My very first party with my company was via Skype with guests in four different states. That was fun and I must admit a bit more personal than FB.
