Any advice for first time home based part-time job online?
Hello everyone.
I am new here. I am currently looking for a part time job.
Any advice would be nice:)

Since you're looking for a job I can't help you much. But I do welcome you to the forum jomairah.

Be sure to check the telecommuting section. You'll find lots of stuff here. :)

There is a lot of competition in finding good work from home jobs. Create a good resume and check the telecommuting folder several times a day for new job postings.

Hi Jomairah.

Welcome to WAHM. Finding a job is definitely possible here at WAHM. As others noted, looking through the telemarketing folders is a good start. If you'd like a career versus a job, check out Promise Opens Doors. There are numerous ESL job opportunities available. Check us out at the link below.

Hi Jomairah. I'm new here too. What kind of job are you looking for - what are your skills or what do you like doing?

I think your best bet would be to write some things down that you are passionate about. With working from home you almost have to be to make it successful! Keep us up to date on what you choose!

Nicholegird makes a good point. do what you love, or at least do what you're good at? If you're not sure just start trying. Taking action is the only way you will get anywhere.

Take action. That's a good point fulltimebaby.

Too many people never succeed because they're either afraid of failure or afraid of success so they never start. And then there are those who never start because they insist on every aspect of the endeavor to be perfect before launching into action.

Fail forward fast. Don't remember offhand who said that (Zig Ziglar?) but it certainly is good advise.
