My name is Becky, I am from South Carolina. I have done work at home jobs for years and now looking to get back into it. I have a 14 year old who loves to dance and its getting more and more expensive so It time that I get back into the work game. I home school her as she loves to dance, act and model and working from home is what would work great for our family.

Welcome Becky. I'm new too...sort of. Was her in 2012 and like you have done several work from home jobs. Started with Divvee Social recently and still do Send Out Cards. Your daughter sounds like she is quite talented.

Welcome to wahm, Becky! What part of SC are you located? SC is home, I grew up in Newberry, went to school K-7 in Newberry and 8-10th in other cities there. I miss Myrtle Beach and the whole area, one day I'll get back over there!

I can totally relate to the homeschooling and needing money, my youngest is special needs, so I homeschool her and have a side business. I have thought about doing a pt job with a home health care agency, they have all shifts available here, so I could do late evening, night, over night etc. Whatever I have availability for.

Ah the mother of a dancer. Life is not dull for you! From saranading the neighborhood as she takes the speakers to the driveway for a free show to purchasing the most expensive costume to wear only once, I feel ya. My 18 year hold has been dancing since the 2nd grade.

My daughter home schooled her 3 daughters (still is the youngest). Oldest is now married with two daughters. The middle one has a degree in clinical phlebotomy, as well as NA, and is studying for her nursing degree at the moment.

Hi Becky. My name is Andrea and I just joined WAHM. Nice to meet another newbie. I was layed off from my 20 year job in 2008 and have been unofficially retired since then, :) I found myself a tad bored and realized a little extra money sounded appealing. However, leaving the house to work doesn't sound super appealing. So, I hope to work from home. Hope to see you on the forum.

Welcome Becky. You sound a bit like me. I retired when I was 46 and didn't last 2 months before the boredom overtook me. That stuff is real.
