    Talking Back after a few years away :)
    Hey everyone! I used to use this forum for freelance writing. Now I'm delving into the direct sales world and am looking to learn how to make this business model work while still working my full time job and homeschooling my kiddos. My full time job is work from home, but for another company and it doesn't have the flexibility I need. I want to be my own boss but am scared too! Tough to walk away from vacation time, benefits, and retirement plans. I'd love to talk with anyone who's been able to make this transition!

    Hi Shalonne. I expect the most difficult thing for you will be finding time to begin (and continue) a new effort judging from what you're already doing.

    I think you'll need to make sure what you start is in a niche you enjoy enough that you won't get bored by it. Then dedicate every spare moment you can steal from your already busy schedule to getting your endeavor up and running.

    You'll probably find things slow at first but your efforts will be well worth it in the long run if you stick to it.
