    Default Hi All WAHM! Need advice..
    Hi All,

    Just joined and am looking forward to getting tips from others in the same boat - I am really pleased to be at home and available for my girls when they get home but I need some tips how do you manage your time - I think I have to ignore the breakfast dishes and laundry if I am to get any work done!

    Would love to hear advice from pros

    Welcome to WAHM. We're glad to see you here.

    Time management can be a problem when you work at home - especially when you have young children.

    You do have to be flexible, but creating a work schedule may help you. Write out the tasks you want to accomplish daily, weekly, monthly. If you print it on a check-off sheet, you will have a feeling of accomplishment each time you complete a task.

    Stick to the schedule whenever you're able to do so. The task sheet will help you set your priorities and remind you what you want to do each day.

    To help with keeping up with cleaning try the flylady. Go to her website at flylady.net and check it out. You get a daily "flight plan" that includes a quick morning routine, a daily mission that takes about 15 minutes to do, and a BBR (before bed routine).
