Default No experience and haven't worked in 8 years! Help Please!

I have not worked in over 8 years and I am looking to find an actually job(employee)!

I know my options are limited due to not have worked in over 8 years and not having any experience in no at home job areas.

I know my best bet would probably be a phone job, but I would really like to avoid that. I have 3 kids and a dog and I am not to sure that I would be good on the phone.

I am not totally against a phone job, just don't prefer it.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a phone job may not be your best thing.

Direct sales does not require experience and is great with kids. I started before I was pregnant with my first and continues when he was a newborn. Tomorrow he is 13 and I have 2 others. Takes commitment but you can make great cash. Start a team, earn even more.

Good luck!

Sorry, didn't see that you wrote you want to be an employee. Try the telecommuting folder for that

I agree with Debra. Lots of positions are posted in the telecommuting folder and new things are posted every day.

Welcome and good luck with your search.

My advice would be to think about what you have done in the last 8 years which would be marketable. Even if you weren't employed, you may still have skills which an employer would want.

For example, if you can type quickly and accurately, maybe consider transcription.

If you have math/science/finance/econ skills, you could easily work as an online tutor.

Sales or customer service are also possibilities.

What I want to do? Well I do not like to write, I don't like the idea of being on the phones but I have not ruled it out. I would like a flexible schedule, work when I want and around my schedule. I can type pretty good.
