My mother has passed, so I'm giving nothing. However, what she gave me in life lessons was an incredible gift. Love, commitment, laughter and so much more. I miss her dearly.

I am unsure yet to get for my mom. Do you have any suggestions? My mom is 59 years old. I believe it is best if I get suggestions from moms as well. Thank you!

My mom doesn't really need or want any "thing", my time is the most important. SO we'll grab lunch or go shopping together......

I got my mom a scarf with iris' on it. She loves flowers and I usually get her hanging baskets or a plant for her massive flower gardens - but she is getting to be quite a clothes horse in her older years - something she was not able to do at all when raising us 6 kids (I'm the oldest). So since scarves are really in I thought I would get her that....with flowers on it!
 I'm actually also getting my boys something. Last year there was a really nice pic taken of me and my two sons so I had 5x7's made of the photo - 3 of them, one for each of us. Then I'll put in a frame and give to them on mother's day. With their father passing a couple of years ago suddenly in a motorcycle accident we have all realized how much more precious time is with each other...so I just thought an appropriate thing to do. Here's the photo:

Nothing yet
She has 5 girls, and really doesn't want us going and getting a bunch of "stuff" for her. So small meaningful gifts like homemade picture frames with a pick of the kiddos in it are always great.One year I made my own lavender sugar body scrub for her and put it in a cute little bottle with ribbon and a homemade label. She LOVED it. Shortbread cookies in a pretty tin is another hit from previous years.

My mom has been wanting a tablet so we are getting her a Samsung galaxy
we're also probably going to BBQ and hang out like we do every year
|
