    Hello Everyone! Xelin here.

    I am new to this forum site. Looking forward to meeting new people. By the way, is it normal that new members don't get to edit their profiles? I tried editing via User cp but I received this message:

    "Xelin, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

    I have already activated my account, so I'm not sure what's happening.

    New members need to make a certain number of valid posts before they can set up signatures, etc. I believe. A moderator would know for sure.

    New WAHM members must post 30 times (originate posts or comment on others' posts) AND be a member for two weeks before they can place ads (Promote Your Business forum), and there are a couple other limitations (as you've discovered) during the "qualifying" period.
