Default Staying out of the fridge

My biggest challenge to working from home is staying out of the fridge. WAH can be fattening!!1

Exercise and staying busy keep me from over doing it I love all good food and love baking!

Try keeping fruit and veggies around to snack on .. That has helped me

I actually don't have that problem. I am too busy during the day to eat. My hubby comes in and lunch and dinner time to drag me away from my computer (not literally!).

My snack time is after dinner, TV time for instance.

I know how that is, very hard to stay out of the fridge when you are at home all day!

This is a very common problem. I agree with Malea, stock the fridge with healthy snacks! I try to always keep fruit, greek yogurt, hummus, and veggies on hand. If I want something "sweet" I cut up some strawberries and blueberries, mix in some vanilla greek yogurt, and add a little granola on top. Yum!

I am ok with not snacking until I am making dinner and then I pop any thing I can in my mouth. I do find it helpful to have healthy snacks like carrots and celery in a small bag in the refrigerator and munch on them when cooking.

I am finding that I'm eating better working from home - I had a bad fast food habit when I was working outside the house. Plus I have a lot more time to work out now.

I also work a job where I have to stay in my office since I do tech support and I have to be able to answer the phone when it rings. That keeps me out of the kitchen too

I used to have this problem but not anymore. I really got on track with Shakeology this winter and lost some weight and feel better and it just helped me get better habits. I don't do the Shakeology anymore but like I said, it got me on track and now I have also found out I am anemic, so I started eating things with more iron, which happen to be beans. Lots of black beans and navy beans and refried beans, etc., etc. which are also very high in fiber. So except for that time of the month, I don't snack during the day except for maybe a banana or apple because I don't get hungry.

In the evening I have popcorn a few times a week and Edy's half the fat ice cream a few times a week. I am working out at the gym every single day now so can't mess it up! I just turned 51 and need to lose a lot and it only gets harder as we get older....gotta stay with it!
