Few more I think can be added. ...
1. "Could you repeat that"-- One or twice is OK. But developing a habit of putting up the same question every time indicates that you don't care about or respect in what he has to say. 2. "I Don't know" - This is a bad way of responding to your Boss. There are many situations where you might really don't know the cause but instead you can politely reply to your boss by saying "Let me check it out" or "let me find it" etc... |

Haha! Those are good!
I don't know if anyone would actually say this, but how about: "What about my raise?" after only working for a short period of time. |

Thanks for sharing everyone. Those are great suggestions.
I have also heard: "I am overqualified for this." "I don't get paid enough for this job." |

I've read about that when my companion in the office post it on the wall. They're helpful lines but some of it, I did say to my boss! LOL

I like the "I am over-qualified" line. i am a teacher and the kids think they are too good to do certian things as well.

I like #1, about it not being in your job description!
I had a manager once who would ALWAYS give me her work to do... even when it was specifically for a manager and I had no clue what to do with it... I always wanted to say "That's not in my job description!" |

The one that always drove me nuts when I was the boss was "nobody ever told me that" and you had told that same person the same thing at least 5 or more times :-) so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore LOL!!
