Have you checked out the Telecommuting Folder? It is a great place to start learning about what is available if you are looking for a job. If you start working your way through the other folders there is information on different opportunities for businesses.

You know what they say...buyer beware! You have to be really careful looking for stay-at-home jobs! Watch out for scams!
Make sure whatever you decide to do fits your personality. Some things which say they work-at-home are actually telling you that they just don't give you an office, but you're really running all over the globe and not staying at home. Best of luck in your search! |

The type of schooling needed depends on which career you choose. For example, something like medical transcription or coding requires training. Secretarial work or resume writing doesn't require training, but you have to know what you are doing. Some service businesses you can do from home like pet sitting or a lawn service don't require special training. If you decide on a network marketing business, most companies provide free ongoing training. You need to first decide exactly which career you want, then go from there.

Are you looking for work for someone else from home or to have your own business? Getting started with your own business is very rewarding and offers great flexibility, but there is usually a small investment required to get started.

You should do something that you are really good at, something that will bring you the feelings of satisfaction and probably you will not need any school at all. Good luck!
