Aww--bet your forgot how small they are, huh?! Hope all is well with your daughter and grandson, she recovers soon, and gets into the swing of it. I don't think the feeling of being grandma and the joy of each gets any less with the 2nd and so on. MIL has 5 and ours were the last two--shewas just giddy with joy each time! Congrats again on yourgrowing family! Edited by: dagsmom

I just became a grandma five weeks ago.. and it IS awesome.. I love my grandbaby to no end and am blessed that I get to be his babysitter as well. It is a fantastic experience but also a worriesome experience as well.
I think my surrogate mom put it into words best... "You worry just as much as you did as a mom but you don't have the same control which makes it harder". |

I am enjoying talking to my grandchild over the phone - even if he still just a few months old! I want him to know my voice! I can't hold him because of distance but I can talk to him!

I will be holding my first grandchild for the first time in a few weeks.
That will be a moment to remember. Living so far away makes it difficult to visit often. She will be 1 year on June 9th. Can't wait!!! |
