Mommy did a bad thing!

We went to the mall yesterday to let DD's spend their gift cards. Yankee Candle was having a major sale, so I went in and stocked up on votives and tarts for the year.


When I got home, I put them in my bathroom and lit them, like usual. My stupid bangs were in my eyes, so I reached into my makeup bag for my clip, and when I did so, I guess I sorta flipped it over onto the candle. While I'm pulling my bangs back, I see these flames shooting up. I burned a 6 inch hole in my makeup bag! [img]smileys/smiley9.gif[/img]

My daughter was trying on a bridesmaid dress in her friend's grandmother's bathroom and set the dress on fire with a bathroom candle. The grandmother made the dress and my daughter was mortified, but Grandma laughed when she told her about it.Grandmother said"I knew it was silly to play Martha Stewart and put a candle in the bathroom"and off they went to get more material.
