Thanks so much everyone!
Ed spent the night filling out apps on fastweb. We appreciate the link!
He is so excited. One of his friends was accepted too (from his robotic team) so they have decided to be roommates. That makes me feel better- a familiar face to hang out with.
We`ll give it our best shot!
Terry

What incredibly wonderful news for you! I hope all of the funding comes through. Your son sounds as if he can do whatever he sets out to do, and I'm sure you gave him that fortitude.

Excellet news, Congratulations! If this is something that he has aways wanted don't let it go because of money. Keep looking, I'm sure that there is some kind of grant or loan he can get to cover his tuition. Don't even think that staying at home with him was anything other than good. You gave him the foundation to reach his goals. Way to go, Mom!

Have you checked out www.fastweb.com? They have access to thousands of scholarships.
I wanted to say thank you as well for the link. I forwarded it on to someone I know can get some use out of it.

I love the way people come forward to share this stuff.

Congratulations to your son. As a former special education teacher, I love to hear stories of kids with disabilities doing so well!

That said, because he has an IEP and some learning disabilities, he may be able to apply for scholarships within the special ed realm. Here is a link to a site with some:
