I'm in Nevada and we got a surprise snowstorm a couple days ago. It was fun!

We moved from the NE last year to Phoenix and I am missing my snowy winters

We sort of had a snow day. I drive a school bus in oneschool district, my son goes to school in another, and mydaughter teaches in another.
I was 3/4 of the way to the bus yard when I got the call that my district cancelled, and they never cancel. After agreeing to drive somewhere else where they also never cancel I continued to the bus yard only to find out they had cancelled within the two mile ride. Yet my son's district which always cancelled if they even mentioned snow only had a two hour delay. My daughter's district also cancelled so my son is the only one who had to go to school.  What is bad for me is we don't get paid if we don't work. Not good this time of year. We also had more ice then snow here too. I live not far from NH in Central MA Got a feeling it's going to be a long winter. Ann
