Me and DH drove to Shreveport (90 miles away) at 12 AM Friday morning to be in line at Best Buy for their doorbuster.

We got there, and there were all ready 150 to 200 people standing outside in front of us. We were going for the Toshiba laptop for 229$.

Needless to say, they did not make it down the line where we were before they ran out of tickets for them.

But, I ended up getting a HP laptop with a 3 in one printer, wireless mouse, laptop bag, and anti-virus software for $550.

I all ready have a Toshiba laptop and it is a good one, but I am really loving this new HP too.

I was there. I started out at Walmart at 4 and continued to enjoy the sales until a little after noon

I was inside Walmart a little after 4 a.m. to get their 32" HDTV LCD widescreen tv for $448. We got one too. Then after that we went on to Target to get some toys that were marked down.

I was in line at Best Buy at around 5:30 pm on Thursday with 30 people already in front of me. The first person actually got there at 8:00 am. It was crazy most people had tents set up with barbeque grills and space heaters in them. I waited in line until 4:00 am when they handed out tickets. I did not get the $199 desktop that I went there for, they were out of tickets for all the computers by the time they got to me. I did get the GPS system though.

I agree, I dont think that I could wake up to wait in line that early, but I was curious to see how many peopale actually did. I guess if the price is right than people will come, no matter how early.

This year was the first time I have ever went to a Black Friday sale. It was also my last. I did not get what I went for, and I am not pitching a tent to camp in the parking lot of anywhere as long as I have a home.. lol
