than 34?
Today is my birthday and it's really the first one that has bothered me. I don't think 30 bugged me quite this much!

I swear lately the more I come to this site..the older I'm starting to feel. I'd love it if my next birthday was 35! Instead it's 40. [img]smileys/smiley22.gif[/img]

Happy Birthday!!
 I turned 35 a couple months ago..Didn't bother me as much as 30..LOL I think because possibly 34 is "early" 30's and 35 is "Mid 30's" going into the LATE 30's...LOL

I told my dad the other day that I was going to be 40 soon. He looked at me like I was crazy (I turn 36 next week). I countered with the fact that I'm closer to 40 now than 30. He just looked dazed. I know what you mean, though. 30 wasn't such a big deal as my oldest was only going to be two. But somehow 40 sounds like so much more. Like reading that Baby Jessica story. I was reading the thread and had to pause when someone said they were in high school then. For some reason it didn't register that I was also in high school at the time. NO WAY! That means my 20th is coming up!!

Happy Birthday I'm 34 and people swear I'm still a teenager cause I look so young. Personally I wish I knew what they saw all I see are my greys and on their way wrinkles .

I'll tell you I dreaded each and every one of the 30's like the old Day's of Our Lives sands through the hour glass theme. However, once I crossed the 40 last summer it just hasn't bugged me anymore. I'm looking forward to the next one this summer. I'm not sure why the big deal about the 3 decade and the 4th decade is cool but it really isn't phasing me anymore.
