Default Eeeks! I could use some pointers!

Hi! I'm new and excited to be here!!!!

I've been a stay at home mom for several years and my kids are finally old enough that I can manage to work from home - IF - I can find a reputable company to work for.

I've written articles for pennies (ugh!!), I've created on zazzle and now I'm going to try my hand at doing transcription work...any pointers for me? Oh... I've worked as an office manager for a small company previously and understand the basics of transcription as I had to do it frequently there.

I'm also open to any other legitimate work from home ideas.

Thanks in advance!

I'd recommend checking out the Telecommuting and the Writing/Transcription sections on the forum. You will find opportunities and a lot of information posted there.

Good luck.

You didn't mention whether you would consider a home business. There are many represented on WAHM. Even though multi-level-marketing sometimes is referred to as a scam, the vast majority are legitimate businesses.

If you decide to check out a home business, spend plenty of time researching companies. Do not look only on companies' own websites. Be sure to check out third-party sites to see what those outside the company say about them.

Virtually anyone here on WAHM will be glad to answer your questions about their particular business.

Yes, telecommuting is in today. Anyone with customer service experience can have the job. And the pay is more than just writing articles. You can also offer whatever you can do in sites like fiverr. Or search for other work opportunities at various freelancing sites.

Also, notice all the various signatures by our posters. Each will normally have more ideas for you.
