Need Prayers for Friend Facing Death
Last Wednesday, I found my friend beyond recognition, almost dead in her home. We were able to rush her to the hospital but her liver had failed and she was almost in a complete coma.
Diagnosis is very grim, she doesn't have the time nor strength/health to make it through the liver transplant process - in other words, she is no longer a candidate for a transplant now and it is doubtful she will survive long enough for consideration. Without a transplant, the doctors concluded death is imminent and suggested going home under the care and guidance of Hospice. We don't have an actual Hospice facility here Please pray for her easy passage, I so hate seeing her in such pain regardless of how selfishly I want her to live to see her 50th birthday (July) She is in denial, saying it's just a bunch of nonsense - she still believes that she will get a new liver & be fine (even when faced w/the medical facts) It's so hard to reach for faith when faced with such harsh reality. I will definitely be praying for you. The important thing is that she still believes she might make it through, and sometimes hope and faith in the person is all it takes. For a doctor, it might be very easy to say that a person is going to die, but in the end it's that person's strength and will that will determine what happens to them. I pray that she makes it to her 50th birthday but if not then I pray that she finds peace as she leaves this world and travels to the next. God Bless!

I am sorry for what had happen to your friend. It must be hard for her to accept the truth of her condition. When reality comes in and you are not prepared, it's totally devastating. I'll be praying for her.

This is truly a sad situation. While I will pray for her to come to terms with her reality, I will also pray for you. Sometimes it is harder to walk along side someone, who is dying than to be the patient. It takes a special friend to care for someone during this type of event. She is fortunate to have you as a friend.
