Cool What made you join your company?

I saw this posted in the Network Marketing forum and I wanted to start a thread over here

Repost from other thread:

I joined this company because I was looking for an opportunity outside of my regular job to make extra money to pay off some debt.

Default physical and financial wellness while helping others!

I was looking for some solutions to my personal health problems that have left me disabled and unable to work in my profession of the last 12 years. I contacted a sorority sister from college because I knew she was a representative of the company from which I wanted to purchase green cleaning supplies and I was hoping she could point me in the direction of some supplements that could help me as well. I had not even really thought about the financial part of it, but then realized that I trusted my friend, and if she could be as successful as she has been, then I could do the same.

Although my illness is not in remission, I have noticed some improvements in symptoms, which I attribute to getting rid of the harsh chemical cleaners like bleach (no asthma attacks!). My skin is happier with sulfate free body wash and shampoo, my face has cleared from acne and I no longer need the two prescription topicals, and I feel better about my family's health, too.

I have seen all these changes, so of course I feel great about working with this company, and I really like the compensation plan. I find it more than fair, and I like what I'm doing. I'm also happy that I can write my own schedule around my family's needs.

I joined my company looking for healthier products for my home, and now I'm working towards replacing my husband's income so that he can stay at home, too. We are working towards better financial stability, savings, and saving for our dream home. Who wouldn't like that?

What made me join initially, was my company was started by a naturopathic doctor who created a health product that everyone needs! I know how precious health is and I realize that we aren't getting all the nutrition our bodies need because of our depleted soils. So that was a no-brainer for me!

But THEN, I saw everything else the company offered - thousands of products, including Healthy Chocolate, Coffee, Mineral Makeup, Weight Management, Essential Oils, Designer Clothes & Jewelry, Energy & Nutrition Products, Non-GMO & Organic Foods, Scrapbooking & Card Making Items, Botanical Spa & Personal Care Products, Candles, and Home/Garden/Pet Products. What's uber cool about it is that WHATEVER your interests are - our company has products you can get passionate about!

I also love their non-sales model! Our concept is called Switch - Shop - Share. We share the "mini-Amazon" concept with people, and show them how they can switch where they shop (now in their own online store). You can always try new products if you want, or simply just buy the same coffee & chocolate you consume each month!

I could go on and on about the company's 18 year track record, the compensation plan, the powerful team of supportive women we've put together and so on, but let me just wrap up by saying that it's a place where I've finally found my HOME after so many years of searching!

I joined Young Living because I needed a way to cope with my personal issues and health. Within a week, I was feeling so much better that people at work noticed and started asking questions. Within my first month of "distributing" I made enough to support my oil habit, plus have a few parties. I accidentally got into the network marketing side of my company, and I have now quit my other job, and I've never been happier! What I really love is how the taxes work with home-based businesses.

For me, I had no intentions of joining the company. However, after completing the 21 Day Fix and feeling great combined with super results, I knew I had to pay it forward! So many people are sick and tired and don't realize it because they are so used to feeling terrible that I wanted to be a part of the solution. Great question!

Robin, what sorority were you in? I'm a Delta Gamma

I joined Le-Vel Thrive because my ex sister-in-law, but still friend, was incessantly posting about how much energy she had and how good she felt at the wee hours of the morning. I wanted to feel like her. Plus, it's free to join, there are no fees (STILL), you can earn your product for free (easier than it sounds), tons of perks and you get paid EVERY Tuesday. I left for another company for about 6 months because they were focused on giving back to the community. Unfortunately, the investors backed out on Friday 7/3 with NO NOTICE, the company closed and I came back. I had been thinking about it for about a month anyway. Everything happens for a reason.

I joined for the discount on J.R. Watkins products so I didn't have to keep scouting stores for natural products, and also to earn a bit of extra income on my own instead of getting a part time job. It's a safe way for me to have my own business without all the overhead and investment of a traditional store front business.

Hi ladies!

I joined my company because I didn't realize all the toxins that are IN the home than outside after watching the company overview - very sad

I wanted to work for a health and wellness company where I can supplement my income and help others at the same time I love the idea of the company, the products...and I honestly feel that everyone could benefit from it.
