I agree with the below explanation. Situps and crunches will make the abdominal muscles tighter, but it must be accompanied by a proper healthy lifestyle change. Obviously that is a little different for everyone.

I agree Mercyqueen. A lot do have success with Isagenix, which really if you follow their program is "controlling calorie intake" and eating and drinkingyour way to a healthy lifestyle.

And whey protein (which they also use) has been proven to help with weight loss, reduce fat and build up muscle. Partly why Isagenix calls their weight loss program a "fat burning system".

I agree with the posts above - it's about a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, and some kind of exercise will help reduce belly fat (and fat in general). The healthy food choices used to be the hardest part for me, but thankfully I've found a way to make that part a lot easier. Good luck!

You can't spot reduce. It isn't possible no matter how many crunches or situps you do. The number one thing you need to do is eat clean. You also need to do cardio preferably HIIT to melt fat then abwork to build muscle.

The best is cardio exercise. You will lose body fat in general. And then you can mix that up with abdominal crunches and the like.

Fruit fast - only fruits in your diet. My hb saw results in two weeks. Not easy, at the start you may feel weak and lethargic. But it's worth it.
If you're addicted to coffee or tea, better to get rid of that before embarking on fruit fast.

I use to eat whatever / whenever. Then I changed to allow myself only 1 cheat day.
So I'd eat responsibly M - Saturday then Sunday I'd literally eat everything.
By responsibly I mean.
Limit Sugar
Eat more vegetables than you do grains and meats.

I just started hitting the gym, but also I drink only water with the exception of one cup of tea per day. I don't eat regular sugar (I use plant-based like Stevia and Xylitol) and I also follow Trim Healthy Mama style of eating, which is basically pairing a lean protein with a healthy carb or a lean protein with a healthy fat (no meals with both carbs and fat).
