Hi there,

I agree with the below explanation. Situps and crunches will make the abdominal muscles tighter, but it must be accompanied by a proper healthy lifestyle change. Obviously that is a little different for everyone.

"Exercise alone will not do the job. Strengthening abdominal muscles can help you look tighter and thinner. But spot exercises won't banish belly fat. The real secret to losing belly fat is a balanced, calorie-controlled diet and an hour a day of moderate activity such as brisk walking."

I agree Mercyqueen. A lot do have success with Isagenix, which really if you follow their program is "controlling calorie intake" and eating and drinkingyour way to a healthy lifestyle.

And whey protein (which they also use) has been proven to help with weight loss, reduce fat and build up muscle. Partly why Isagenix calls their weight loss program a "fat burning system".

I agree with the posts above - it's about a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, and some kind of exercise will help reduce belly fat (and fat in general). The healthy food choices used to be the hardest part for me, but thankfully I've found a way to make that part a lot easier. Good luck!

You can't spot reduce. It isn't possible no matter how many crunches or situps you do. The number one thing you need to do is eat clean. You also need to do cardio preferably HIIT to melt fat then abwork to build muscle.

1.) Crunches
2.) Bicycle Exercise
3.) Lunge Twist
4.) Rolling Plank Exercise
5.) The Stomach Vacuum
6.) Captain's Chair
7.) Bending Side to Side
8.) Walking
9.) Running
10.) Jogging
11.) Swimming
12.) Ask help from a fitness coach

The last one is the best advice because having a fitness coach will really help you in terms of fitness advice and will be held accountable for your fitness goals.
