You body needs sugar, it's all about getting the right kind. Fruit sugar doesn't spike the blood sugar or make you "high" like other carbs do so it's very good. Look at Jack Lalaine! (I gotta get me a power juicer) he's been juicing for years and he looks fab!

Eating fruits IS better than eating all that refined carb stuff (white sugar, flour, etc...) That glycemic load stuff is interesting... I don't know how long it's been since i've been avoiding bananas... YEARS!!! I had my first taste of banana yesterday & I must say, it was YUMMY!!!

It's getting HOT here in EL PASO... http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif

I might go and buy me some watermelon today. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gifAnd i'm working on my nutrition planner for next week so I can get in enough calories including fruits as my main carbohydrate choice, protein, & healthy fats. I don't think i'll go ALL fruit though... Gotta ease into it slowly.

The no citrus ONLY applies for those of us currently on a Candida Cleanse, but if you're doing it regular, citrus is great, He actually highly reccommends oranges.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Talking about Candida... FV Mom & Jen... there is an answer that he has for that in the Question & Answer Page in the Fruit Diet book(pg. 44. - Will al lthe sugar in fruit cause me problems with hypoglycemia, Candida, or result in the development of diabetes?) Check it out if you're interested.

Also, as some of you know... I LOVE to do research... http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gifhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif
