I agree Lexi! Chocolate and cheesecake is my ultimate weakness. I was going to go down and get some today but the threat of rain has kept me home. There's always tomorrow!

Let me know when you start and we'll do it together and compare results!

Hey FV Mom ... where did you buy your protein? We don't have a Whole Foods Market in El Paso (just SunHarvest - and I don't know if they carry his protein). I tried looking at Vitamin Shoppe & found nothing... .

I started my 3 day fruit detox today and am using the protein powder that I have on hand so I don't know if I will get the same results...

Vilma you are doing AWESOME! Have you weighed or measured yet? That's awesome about the water retention. Greay job!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

Thanks, and thank you for posting on my blog! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley31.gif
Although i'm not a fan ofweighing everyday, I must admit that I have weighed myself atleast 5 times since I started on Saturday http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gifhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gifhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

I like to see how my weight fluctuates throughout the day. Weird stuff!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

In all honesty, Idon't want to lose more than2 lbs on this because that is not the reason i'm doing it... I just want to reset my system and flush out all the yucky stuff I have. This morning I weighed myself and i'm down 1.5 pounds.. I did drink a 16 oz. water & hadn't gone to the bathroom so that might be about 2 lbs. lower. I haven't measured myself yet (will do that tomorrow).

This is definately not a plan that you can maintain... It is just that... a detox.

After this is done today i'm planning to encorporate some of the Fruit Diet principles to my diet (ex. more fruit!) for 14 days and see how that goes. I don't think I can go 14 days on just fruit, so Istill be eating my staples (lean protein, healthyfats, & some grains). I have foundout that Idefenitely have a gluten, grain sensitivity so I will be replacing *most* of those with fruit.

Hey girly, the fruit diet is NOT an extended fruit flush and you eat a LOT more fruit and also you eat a proteinmeal every night and can adapt as you need etc. I'm doing a modified Fruit Diet right now.

Yups... I know

But, I really do need my protein at everymeal. I don't want to lose the muscle that I already have... That's really the only modification that i'm gonna do. I'm gonna replace my cereals, grains & brown rice with fruit, yams & potatos. Gonna eat more fibrous veggies at night too. I guess mine would qualifty as a modified Fruit plan...

More like the modified BFFM, Fruit & Vilma plan.

The BFFM program doesn't recommend much fruit because Tom says it slows down fat loss. That's why i'm gonna be a guinea pig and try replacing my complex & starchy carbs w/ fruit for 14 days (Jay Robb's fruit plan) to see how my body changes/reacts.

Final Review of Jay Robb's 3 Day FRUIT FLUSH has been posted for those that are interested.

Please remember that this was my personal experience and you may have similar or different experiences/results than mine when/if you decide to do this.

I lost 2.5 pounds & 6.75 inches (more stats on my blog)

Also I used my own protein that I had on hand at the time. Next time I do this (if I do... ), I will buy Jay's protein & see if I see any difference.

Ok... Here it is:
