Exclamation 7 Symptoms to cut back a bit of Exercising

The following seven symptoms may signal that you need to cut back a bit and allow your body to recover between sessions:
  1. Exercise leaves you exhausted instead of energized.
  2. You get sick easily (or it takes forever to get over a cold)
  3. You have the blues
  4. You're unable to sleep or you can't seem to get enough sleep
  5. You have ''heavy'' legs
  6. You have a short fuse
  7. You're regularly sore for days at a time

Whenever I'm feeling a little sick, I really don't exercise.
Thanks for these helpful tips!

Wow...this is why I've stopped exercising more than once. I always thought it was because I have MS and was overdoing it but now I see it's just overdoing it. Thanks for the tips!

I have lost most of my sleep to vigorous exercising schedule. I can't sleep and always wake up tired in the morning. Maybe I need to rest my body a bit more. Thanks for the tips

Health should really come first before anything else. Like everyone else here, I don't exercise when I know I'm not feeling good nor do I exhaust myself into exercising too much. Great tips, thank you.

I got 1, 5 and a little of 7 but I've only just started. Does that count too? I mean, I didn't mind as I thought because I just started working out.

Part of the problem could also be what is going into one's body. Fitness is 80% nutrition, 20% exercise. It seems as though a lot of folks are lacking vitamins and minerals and really fueling their bodies, which could also be part of the problems listed above. Thanks for posting this!
