Arrow Just joined the gym again. I lost 20 pounds since January.

I am excited to have joined the gym. I have lost 20 pounds since January and feel great. Now it's time to start building some lean muscle mass. At 39 years old I am hoping to build abs for the first time ever. lol It is going to take work but I am ready to do it. Any recommendations as to any specific workouts?

Cheers
Matthew Jamieson

Thumbs up Thanks!

Thank you so much. I am now at a total of 50 pounds lost. I feel amazing and will compete to win the cover of our International fitness magazine called the Challenge Magazine. Voting will start on October 14th. My girlfriend and I are working really hard. I can see abs for the first time in my life.

Cheers

Good for you Matthew. I would suggest Circuit Training. Its a great way to confuse your muscles. Meaning you just dont do the same stuff over and over.

I would also add to that to make sure that you keep the intensity level of your training high.
