Believe me or not, but I was just about to create a thread regarding juicing!
This morning, I actually started a routine that i hope I will maintain. I'm planning on juicing 1 whole bittergourd (with the center stuff removed) and drinking it first thing in the morning, a few minutes after i get up from bed. I have been reading about the health benefits of consuming fresh bittergourd and how (positively) potent it is for your health when consumed on an empty stomach. It benefits your blood and your skin among other more important organs..haha [It doesn't take like orange juice though..haha] My mom used to juice carrots, apples, and all sorts of other fruits too when I was a kid. It tasted great and I'm sure that they are insanely healthy too! What are you planning on juicing? Are you going to replace certain meals with juice or is it simply going to be a health booster of sorts? Cheers! |

we juice - the best advice I can give you is to be careful with beets - they are very powerful.

Juicing is also an effective way to make your diet better and weight loss. Because it helps you to maintain you diet when you are taking only juices. It also helps to make you skin fresh and glowing and also wash your stomach.

I juice occasionally but I could never do it by itself, even when eating nuts and such. I was much too hungry.

Juicing and cleansing diets longer than 2 days are not of any value. Besides slowing your metabolism you needlessly waste lean body mass. More effective would be to do a 2 day cleanse followed by a healthy diet that includes significant fruits, vegetables and fiber while staying away from processed foods, saturated fats, and sugar.

I prefer whole blending to juicing. Fewer calories, more fiber, more nutrients, lower glycemic, less expensive.
