I was just sitting here thinking how the workout accountability thread has been so helpful for so many. I was thinking about doing something similar with eating since weight loss reall is 80% diet 20% activity. I was thinking we could start the new thread daily and when you check in, on a scale of 1-10 rate your eating for the say as far as staying on plan (regardless of what eating plan you're following). Share what challenges you had during the day or victories and how you overcame a challenge. We could share ideas about what we can do to overcome the challenges others are having as well. It'll really help up stay accountable with our eating and get better, lasting resultsSo should we?

So when the daily thread is started, will it be based on the day before?

I didn't even think of thatYes, it would have to huh?So it would be something like "Monday Sept 29th Rate Your Plate!" But we'd actually post the rating Tuesday. Ok kinda makes sense

Actually it's a great idea. I face challenges daily and have to make daily choices.

Just an example. Someone dropped a 400 piece bag of mini candies on my desk today. I looked, they are only 50 calories each. I almost ate one. Oh my gosh, Twix bars and Snickers bar, mini's of course. But then I had to really ask myself if I wanted those 50 caloires and the answer was no. I didn't eat it.

What's really funny is I came home from the gym and had a nutrition bar, way more calories but I feel like they are better calories.

I'm in for the food thread

Sounds good to me but why couldn't we post the day of instead of the next? Maybe I am confused? It doesn't take much for me[img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img] We could post what we eat throughout the day while also discussing if we stayed on plan. I dunno, just thinking[img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]
