HI!
it has been a couple of days since I have been on here so I thought I would just do one big post...LOL!

Ok so I have joined the YMCA and I am LOVING the gym (or wellness center...that is what they call it). I went Monday and today and I am going back tomorrow while sonny boy is in school. Tomorrow I am going to try and tackle the elpitical machine (It is a scary looking machine...LOL) and have been spending at least an hour a day at the gym. Can't wait to use the pool.

I have also decided that I am going to limit myself to one white starch per day and try not to eat and processed foods. I am a deli meat junkie and I need to cut it out because I really feel that it is holding me back. I will start this next week sometime (see below part)

Ok..so this maybe a TMI part of the post but here it goes...lol! On Saturday I was doing really good, then Sunday came...my son's birthday party. Woke up and got on the scale and was down to 172.2 from 175lbs....I was super excited! BUT then I guess PMS came rushing in and I have been a non stop eater since. I have come to the conclusion that it is IMPOSSIBLE to do your lifestyle change (or diet...whatever you want to call it) during this time of the month. My appetite is like a raging beast out of control during this time of month and it is like this every single month. Right now I feel like I am excersing just to be able to eat more of my cravings. Why can't I have healthy cravings like watermelon, grilled chicken breast, wheat toast....NO....I have cake, tortilla chips, chinese food, and anything bad for you cravings (although I was able to get a healthier chinese dish). So for now I will get through this TOTM and then next week get back on track and start focusing on getting these last 10-15lbs off of my body! Beach season is coming and I want a hot bad for swimsuit season

That's smart about the white starch too. My OB says they're killer for your waistline and blood sugar which is why she took me off of them with the exception of potatoes and oatmeal.Edited by: FV Mom

Trying to get there! Hubby has always been a little "trippin" I guess you can call, but he is pretty good about seeing where it goes before freaking out (Which btw it never goes anywhere)...plus he knows if I have to I can kick BUTT if anyone approaches me and I don't like what they have to say

As for the white starch...ugghhhh that is one hard habit to get off of...so instead of removing it all together...I am down to maybe a serving every other day!

You're doing awesome!White starch is modified crack I tell ya!I start going through withdrawals when we pass Italian restaurants
