Yesterday, I busted my butt doing outdoor work (with my kids)...

For the most part hubby was inside, working, paper work...nothing physical. After he finished he worked outside for a good hour or 2.

I ate less than him yesterday and didn't eat for 3 hours before bed, he ate an apple right before bed.

This morning, we weighed in (we are having a contest between us) and I'm UP 1 pound...he's DOWN 2 lbs!!!

How does that happen? I feel like the Slimquick commercial. Edited by: mctaza1

One thing to keep in mind....men lose weight faster than women - I don't know why, but they do.

yes... don't get down on your self. I would recommend doing total of weight-loss % instead & measuring yourselves. The scale weight can bounce up and down through out the day.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

It seems so unfair that he can drop weight faster. He does have about 10 more lbs than I to lose, so, I figured it'd be a fair contest...after today I'm wondering if my theory will work.

I hear ya.. I yoyo on the scale all them time. It's very frustrating. I got my body fat tested and my measurements taken so I'm going to go by that. Although I still weigh myself all the time!
