I'm sure it's healthier than drinking coffee lol.
I do drink a lot of water and do enjoy lemon water sometimes too. |

Every morning I drink a full glass of water with1/2 of a freshly squeezed lemon, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and a teaspoon of maple syrup. Mix it all up, let it sit for a minute (The chia seeds soften up...) and drink it - trust me, it tastes better than it looks! Do this approx 15 min before eating. Another important thing I've learned is that throughout the day, many times when you feel you need a snack, you are actually just thirsty. Have a big glass of water and your craving will go away...usually.

This was great to know as have some chia seeds here and wondered how to use them up. Also will have to use stevia instead of the maple syrup for making this drink more "low carb" friendly. Thanks for the great idea on using chia seeds and lemon juice!

I'd usually drink 1 glass of water with one squeezed lemon when I get colds. It helps boost your immune system with that natural vit c.

I really need to try this.
I always hear about how good it is for the skin. I usually start my day with caffeine. Not good! lol |
