Why are people so hostile

Why are people so hostile towards those who believe differently than they do? I am voting for Obama because I believe that he is a better choice than McCain. However just because I'd like Obama's policies better than McCain's doesn't mean that I have ill will towards those who like McCain best. I think that everyone who takes the time to go out and vote has the country's best interests at heart. I don't understand the hostility and wishing harm on other Americans. Explain it to me please.

^^This hostility has nothing to do with how I expressed my views. She is actually wishing bad things on my family and on other people's family since more outsourcing hurt a lot of people. I don't see what that has to do with how views are expressed.

Perhaps this does have something to do with Obama, it's about understanding your own responsiblity in a situation. Obama has trouble with that too, perhaps why you can relate to him so well.
You constantly bait, bite, and attack and then we truly can't understand why you find it suprising that people aren't nice and sweet to you in return. I think it's all an act to get attention for yourself. You can't truly not understand that your actions invite reactions and you like them or you'd stop doing it. So I figure you enjoy the game and just keep playing.

She's hoping you experience the natural consequences of your beloved Obama, not the rest of us, who sadly will. Why shouldn't you be the one and not us?

dh's job can't be outsourced , we have
multiple streams of income and a very low overhead. We also have more
than one skill set and an emergency fund that will last us a good year.
18 months if we cut back. We've planned for the worst as every American should no matter who wins in 08.
