Is there anyone doing the Disciples Croses now all I find are post from 2006. Has anyone had any luck with the buy-back program? ANYONE??? Also how do you start getting involved with craft shows? I am sure:you just can't show up with your table. Any help would be great. My email is [email protected].

If you have not done shows before, start with the church bazaars. Ask those that are also displaying their wares what other shows they attend and what their experience has been.
To get into a craft show or bazaar, find out who the organizer is and contact them. For the larger shows it is on the internet (look for a button for vendor or something like that). For bazaars, contact the church or group that is sponsoring the program. The organizers want and need vendors, so do not hesitate to call them. There are some things to watch out for. Most of the time you will need a vendor's license so you can collect sales tax. That is pretty easy to do. Just look up sales tax in your state on google and you will eventually get to the right place with the information you need. I suggest sticking with the .gov sites. There are lots of sites out there that make it sound like you have to incorporate or otherwise pay them money to get started in business, but you do not have to, except to pay for the business or vendor license to the government. Also, at the shows, most of the time there is no electricity available except at a high price. Have fun, Janis |

How many people on here are still doing the Disciple's Cross necklaces? Do they ever have deals where they discount or have coupon codes for getting supplies? Are people still selling a lot of these at craft shows?
Just thinking about doing them and wondering if they are still going over well. |
