This morning I cut up 4 chicken breasts and added a can of cream of mushroom, a can of cream of celery and a can of cream of chicken soup and also 1cup of white rice and threw it all in the crockpot. I believe I got the recipe from allrecipes.com.
Chili is an easy crock pot meal and so is the chicken pot pie with biscuits that someone already posted. Roast is an easy one too. I put in the roast with frencg onion soup mix and then add a package of baby carrots and some potatoes. Done! ![]() |

My favorite and possibly easiest crockpot meal is cream of chicken soup, frozen hashbrown potatoes, a can of drained chicken, and cheddar cheese. To change it up I occasionally use ham instead of chicken. I also throw jalapenos and onions in there from time to time.

I have chile con carne cooking now, with cornbread muffins coming soon.
But I still have more than half an hour of staying out of the kitchen while the TV has those judgmental gossips on The Talk ruling the room. Then I'll go back and make the cornbread. |

Crockpot recipes are my favorite
Mulled Wine 4 cups of the cheapest burgandy you can find 2 cups of water 3 cinnamon sticks 6 whole cloves 1/2cup lemon juice 3/4 cup of sugar (to taste) Bring the water, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon sticks to a boil Low boil for about 2 minutes pour into the crockpot Add wine (never boil after wine is added) - On a cold winter day, this is amazing. We have even taken it out at night in a thermos when playing tennis Makes the whole house smell like home! |

I have found a ton of recipes on Pinterest. My favorite is chicken breasts + packet of ranch dressing/mayo + parmesean cheese + rice set on low for 6-8 hrs. Wonderfully creamy and flavorful - house smells fabulous as it is cooking!

My family really enjoyed the Crockpot Smoked Sausage and Potatoes tonight. My husband suggested that it would be even better on a bed of rice. Eh, maybe. I will probably fix some instant rice for him to add to his bowl next time.
Anyway, good stuff. No leftovers! |
