Default Legal Document Coding: Onshore Coder

The successful candidate will be responsible for coding, analyzing and processing legal documents.

Essential Requirements
• Minimum typing speed of 45wpm, both alpha/numeric
• Experience in handling legal documents coding and procedures
• Coding data with not less than 99.95% accuracy
• Analyzing and processing of TIFF/JPG/PDF Image Documents
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Working knowledge of WinZip, Winrar, Filezilla, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and Email
• Capable of download/upload of images from given FTP address
• Capable of creating folder on hard drive
• Internet connection speed not less than 4.0Mbps at coders location
• Knowledge of QC process as this will help in quality output

Essential Functions
• Capturing fields as per the manual provided by each Client for coding fields. (ie Author, Recipient, CCs, Title of the Document & Document Date, Estimated Date, Characteristics, etc.)
• Identifying, raising the queries and addressing the same with the client

• Per Project

Does this company offer training? Where do I learn legal coding? Everything I can find on the topic says that ususally, the companies themselves train.
