Default A silly look into the inner workings of SimplyFun

Hi there! SimplyFun just posted a video they had played at our Playology Tour (they took our summer convention on the road so more people could attend). Check it out! ‪SimplyFun Playology Introduction Video‬‏ - YouTube

I love working for such a fun company that works hard to bring us unique games for kids and adults alike. The people in the video are some of our home office staff.

Default Thanks Amanda - Made Me Laugh!

Loved the video - thanks for sharing!

I didn't realize that there was a home-based company now that sold games (for both children and adults).

I think games are a great way to help bring a family together...last winter, when we were housebound during a two-day blizzard, games really helped save the day(s)

I took a peek at your catalog and noticed that your company also sells 'conversation starters' - that's so cool!

What a neat company!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you liked it too.
Homefreenow, Yes, we've been around for about 6 years now and still growing. We aren't YET a household name. I too love what playing games more has done for my boys and our family. There is something special about the learning and the memories that are made through game play. I'm glad your family found a fun way to spend your snow bound blizzard time! While the cold nights will all too soon be upon us we'll hope you get to enjoy your family game times this winter without the blizzard this year.
If you have any questions about a particular game or our great chat rings, please let me know. I ♥ to share about these great products!

Hi Amanda,

Good to hear back from you!

I noticed that Simply Fun was a sponsor of the National 2011 MOPS convention!

That says a lot about your company - now I'm really impressed!

I went ahead and ordered a catalog from your website...thanks!

Could you tell me a little bit more about the chat rings that your company offers?

I guess I'm interested in one that would be good for our family in particular...my husband is a 'transportation specialist - as he likes to be called (which translates into a truck driver).

Unfortunately, this means that he is not home a lot and we spend time on the phone each evening talking to him - but, lately, we've gotten into a rut of just sharing quick things from each of our days activities and don't really 'talk' to him.

I'd like to know which chat rings you think would throw a little more spark and interest into our nightly conversations...

Thanks so much,

Gail

Hi Gail,
Thank you! SimplyFun has a close partnership with the MOPS organization and together they developed a special presentation called "Put down the flashcards and Play your way to Smarter Kids" that we Funsters do for MOPS groups. I am proud of our MOPS relationship.

I have known several "transportation specialists" and I know that it can be difficult keeping the connections alive when they are out working hard till they make it back home again. Our two conversation rings are Let's Chat and Family Stories. Either would work great for topic starters outside of the standard summary of the day stuff. Below are a few examples so you can decide which you might like to try.

Let's Chat Ring:
If you received a free trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If you could play any musical instrument, which would it be?
Do you remember your dreams? Any recently?

Family Stories Ring:
What are your favorite family holiday traditions?
Where is your favorite place to go and think? Why?
What is the most daring thing you have ever done?

I will get your catalog in the mail tomorrow morning and I will reply futher to you privately. I can't wait to hear what you think when you get to look through the catalog!

Amanda
