I had not thought about it too much but that is a great idea Laura. With it being breast cancer awareness month I have partnered with several of our local businesses to display our 3 Awareness candles along with a drawing for a free one.
Not Halloween but another idea... ![]() |

For Halloween I always prepare small cellphane bags with lots of candy for the kids. This ensures that I don't give some kids more than others. This year I am also preparing small bags for the moms too. They will include a votive or two tealights, business card, business opportunity postcard, and a hard piece of candy.

Some Fall/Halloween ideas I've been using that have really helped my sales - I make a trip to the Dollar Store - like Dollar Tree. They had these adorable little ceramic jackolaterns - and I used them to float tealights in them and I used them a door prize drawing.
Another Idea - I filled some holders with Candy Corn - and the guest all had to guess how many were in them (thanks Claire!)....A great icebreaker. I also purchased some really cute Coffee Mugs (for $1) that were primitive snowman type - and plan to use them closer to Christmas using our Cafe scents to float in them and use for door prizes. With the Mugs I can include a Candle Lighter, a Wick Dipper and a tealight or votive - It's a great Gift and I plan to make a lot to sell for cash and carry for festivals and fairs! The Dollar Store has been great for ideas and inspiration! |
