Just trying to get some out of the box ideas to market my business! What are some ways you have gotten the word out about your business?

Default I found this online training that really helped

I was trying to figure out indeed how to advertise and market online as I noticed that I was getting several customers from online and I found this great suite of training. Very good quality info available free and then some other trainings are paid. Take a look and see if it's helpful:Free Trial

Thank You! Just so you know, we are not allowed to advertise in posts-this includes posting links. It's against forum rules.

Content marketing has been my "go-to" method. Specifically blogging and YouTube videos.

Create content that answers people's questions and give them value.

It takes effort, consistency, and patience (everything worthwhile does), but it's worth it... has been for me.

Here's a short list: (Some are noted above.)

Blog Commenting
Article Writing
Press Releases
Social Media
Forum Marketing
Video Marketing
Guest Blogging
Offline Networking
Product Giveaway Events

Often a major problem you'll run into is trying to incorporate too many of these techniques at one time. You tend to get overwhelmed.

It's best to choose a method you're comfortable with, learn it, put it to use & get it working, and then start learning the method you're next comfortable with.

I really like your idea of not trying to do too many things at once. It tends to be my downfall as it starts to take too much time to keep up with it all. concentrating on one thing getting goo and moving on. Great advice.

It is also easier to start with the things you are most comfortable with. I find that if I have to spend too much time learning how to do it, I don't do it!

My best way- when I see an individual posting for help with their business, I send a PM and offer a free consult (I offer these anyway as a Consultant & coach for WAHMs). Some people aren't interested, but I've had more yeses than nos.
The yeses have helped me develop an online e-course that I will be launching next month.
