Default How and where do you all advertise?

Aside from the obvious (this forum) where do you advertise your business?

Craigslist?
Facebook?
Do you use Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram?
Do you do email marketing to your own list?
Do you do article/blog writing?

What have you tried before and didn't work?
What is working for you now?

Default Hi, I am Kajal, an online Physics teacher.

As the title suggest I am tutoring online and still am trying to figure out where to advertise.

I work in Life Insurance both selling the products and recruiting members to join my agency. With that being said, I advertise on Craigslist, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I also post job wanted ads on Indeed. And I market on forums such as this one

I also do email marketing and write articles/blogs on my website to keep my content up to date and share via my social networks.

Online marketing is pretty hard. I won't say it doesn't work, or that you shouldn't do it, because it is necessary to at least give image that you are an active business. So far Craigslist has been my biggest success in recruiting agents to join my team. As far as selling the products go, direct mail marketing followed by getting referrals from clients during my sit downs and writing the policies.

Not sure if this will help or relate to what you do but it might.

I mainly utilize social media and a few other boards like this one. I find that connecting with people and building relationships is a lot more fun and works better.

Hi! The best way to advertise your product or website nowadays is through social media. My recent campaigns on the targeted keywords like commercial cleaning is simply rising up above the others in the cleaning niche in France. Social media is indeed a powerful tool to boost up your web rankings and traffics.

I am doing offline advertising with posters and sign boards. I am not sure with online advertising but I hope having an online portal for your company may help in many ways. You can display your offer packages, new products there. I used to get more customers through relationship rather than promotional works, that worked for me. Have a look at this 5 Tips For Marketing Your New Business Offline | Club Ink it may help you to get an idea about the advertising.

My workplace actually uses all of the above? I am not sure how they do email marketing but otherwise all works. Personally (for my author stuff) I do use all of the above. Likely, to my detriment, I use all free services. However, I wonder if advertizing my wares on the free areas of Craigslist may help? What do you guys say?

Default Social Media and Automation

I usually use social media along with automation. I have two campaigns running simultaneously. One that is centered around outreach and brand building. My outreach campaign builds my mailing list. Then I have a campaign centered around sales for my products. I have a few tools I use to automate the process.

Facebook group is great for selling physical goods locally. Haven't tried Craig's List or Instagram. I mainly use Twitter and Facebook.
