I'm just curious how many hows would you say you spend "working" at home?
Either doing your Direct Sales business or logging hours for an employer... I'm in Direct Sales and I'd say I spend about 3 hours a day off and on throughout the day promoting, emailing, posting and coaching my team. |

I focus on the free money making niche. I fell into it over 8 years ago and I've been with it ever since.

I started out spending most of the day, literally, working, or browsing/applying for new jobs. spend hours on transcription, mostly for practice, that ended up paying mere dollars for hours-- but it gave me good practice so it's all good.
Once I had a guaranteed transcription job that paid decent, I started working a few hours a day on random days, just because it was hard to force myself to work from home. Then I aimed at full-time, 8-10 hrs a day of transcription, but the work is not steady so the full-time schedule is not guaranteed. Ideally I would work 8-10 hours if I could at the job I have now. The non-transcription "eggs" as they are called, are article writing, and I do that very very randomly. An hour here and there. And right now.. the transcription is practically nonexistent, so it's close to 0 hours of anything at all. ![]() I'm looking to apply for a phone-job where I can work a steady 40 hrs per week. |

For the first couple years with my business, I was working 40+ hours a week. Now, nearly 4 years with my company, I occasionally work an 8-hour day, but I work 20-30 hours a week most of the time.

I recently started my home based travel business, so I find myself working 40+ hours a week most of the time, but I assume as time goes on and I have better time management skills, that will reduce. I see the hours put in at the moment as essential to create the best foundation for myself and my team.

I work a little less than a full-time week because of kids and activities, but I spend about 30 hours a week working.
